Marketing Executive, Digital and Communications

Job description:

McCormack Family Farms is a 2nd generation, multi award winning family business, growing and supplying leafy vegetables, salad leaves, herbs and speciality microgreens to all major retail chains and foodservice customers.

Due to the rapid growth of our brand, we are expanding our marketing department and looking for a creative Marketing Executive to join our team, who will focus on communication and digital marketing.

It is an exciting time to join us as the brand notes significant growth and makes an impact on the fresh produce category. As our Marketing Executive, you will plan and manage a social media calendar and platforms, develop digital content, plan and coordinate brand activations, organise photography and video shoots and take care of other organisational tasks and administrative duties.

This role is for someone with a flair for storytelling, digital content and creative campaigns. Our ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of the social media world with experience in video and digital image editing programs, Canva and Meta Business Suite. You should be well organised, detail-orientated, quick at solving problems, have an ability to prioritise work, to juggle various tasks. While experience in a similar role with a food brand would be highly advantageous, training will be provided for the right candidate.


Responsibilities:

  • Managing all digital platforms – website, email, social media.
  • Own content creation function. Proactively develop, produce & distribute high-quality content for website, social media, FAQs and other communication materials to promote our strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the overall business goals.
  • Processing and strategically reporting digital analytics.
  • Researching and contributing to the development of communication and brand strategy.
  • Dealing with 3rd party suppliers and agencies.
  • Managing emails and prioritising actionable tasks.
  • Supporting the brand at events, trade shows and external meetings.
  • Performing office duties that include ordering merchandise and supplies, managing the office space, expense tracking and filing.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a similar role with a food brand is highly advantageous, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Communication skills both written and verbal are key to this role. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and content management systems.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise a daily workload and meet deadlines.
  • Highly detail orientated and organised.
  • Committed to continuous professional development.
  • Happy to commute and work in the office based in Kiltale, Co. Meath.
